Backstory

The Pope Estate:
The largest of the three estates at the historic Tallac Historic Site, located in South Lake Tahoe, was built in 1894.
Camp Sports:
Ball sports by Lake Tahoe. Hoops anyone?
Campfire Ring:
The camp I went to is over 100-years-old and still offers summer camp sessions!
Pope House Living Room: The historic living room still features clothing from back in the day.
Camp Schedule:
When I was at camp, one of the adventures was the Wednesday hike I included in Makenzie's Ring.
Staff Quarters:
It's fascinating that once upon a time, the staff at the over-one-hundred-year-old site included a chaffeur, maid, gardner, tutor, not to mention, a blacksmith, cook, butler, and a nanny!
